What you will do

• Develop clean Python and Bash scripts to automate security operations and optimize incident response workflows.
• Build and deploy custom detection rules to flag anomalous behavior and threats across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Design and maintain security dashboards using ELK, Splunk, or Datadog to provide real-time risk visibility.
• Interact with APIs and parse JSON/YAML logs to translate chaotic security data into actionable insights.
• Contribute to the overall security posture of the ecosystem through proactive automation and monitoring.

Requirements

• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
• Strong foundational coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Familiarity with SIEM, infrastructure-as-code, network protocols, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Ability to parse JSON/YAML logs and interact with various APIs.
• Strong interest or experience in data visualization.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or basic CI/CD pipelines.
• Active participation in CTFs (Capture the Flag) or open-source security projects.
