TL;DR

Principal Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Setting the standard for frontend excellence and evolving architecture across multiple product domains with an accent on scalability, performance, and technical leadership. Focus on designing complex cross-domain implementations, mentoring senior engineers, and integrating modern tooling including AI to improve delivery speed.

Location: Hybrid work model (Vilnius and Kaunas offices available)

Salary: 6,500–7,900 EUR brutto

What you will do

  • Evolve frontend architecture, standards, and best practices across multiple product domains.
  • Lead complex, cross-domain implementations that require high-level technical coordination.
  • Raise the quality bar for the entire frontend team in terms of code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Mentor senior engineers and ensure that strong architectural patterns are adopted in practice.
  • Partner with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver complete, high-impact solutions.
  • Influence technical decisions across teams and represent the frontend domain in planning and prioritization.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture.
  • Experience with platforms such as Vercel, Sanity, and PostHog (or similar tooling).
  • Proven ability to design scalable frontend architecture that supports long-term growth.
  • Strong understanding of frontend performance and rendering trade-offs in high-scale products.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid model from Vilnius or Kaunas offices.
  • Ability to lead through influence and maintain a consistently high engineering bar.

  • Experience with Next.js.
