What you will do

• Own and steward platform contracts (gRPC/protobuf, OpenAPI) as the primary source of truth for all teams.
• Produce crystal-clear end-to-end feature specifications, including sequence diagrams and explicit failure mode handling.
• Propose architectural solutions and act as the final arbiter on contract and integration decisions.
• Design service boundaries and integration patterns for distributed and event-driven systems.
• Manage contract evolution, ensuring backward and forward compatibility across multiple consuming teams.

Requirements

• Strong background in systems analysis combined with professional software architecture experience.
• Hands-on expertise with gRPC (including bidirectional streaming) and OpenAPI/REST.
• Ability to create high-quality specs with sequence diagrams and clear acceptance criteria.
• Solid grasp of asynchronous messaging, ordering, retries, and eventual consistency.
• Must be based in Europe.
• Routine use of AI tools in daily professional workflows for research and reasoning.

Nice to have

• Experience with audio/sound streaming or telephony (SIP, real-time voice).
• Experience with AI platforms, chatbots, or LLM-based products.
