Director Fleet Intelligence & AI

Location: Munich, Germany, based at the headquarters in Pullach near Munich; hybrid working model with flexible hours.

What you will do

• Identify and prioritize fleet optimization initiatives with the highest business value.
• Own projects end to end, from problem framing and implementation to measurable business outcomes.
• Build and own the fleet optimization tool in collaboration with Demand Management and Operations.
• Apply data science expertise to develop robust optimization models for the business.
• Lead the central data science collaboration and allocate resources to complex challenges.
• Support stakeholders in Vehicle Purchase and Vehicle Sales through faster, scalable, data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Degree and deep experience in statistics, optimization, and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience in mobility, logistics, operations, revenue management, or similarly complex business environments.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills, with the ability to turn analytical logic into reliable, scalable production solutions.
• Practical experience applying AI to analysis, decision systems, workflows, or products.
• Hands-on ownership from problem framing through implementation and measurable outcomes.
• Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
