What you will do

• Develop high-traffic web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Build and scale RESTful APIs and background jobs processing over 1 million jobs per hour.
• Contribute to application architecture decisions and explore new technologies together with the Lead Engineer.
• Lead the technical conception of features that support newly designed business processes.
• Manage the full feature lifecycle from initial code commit to production health and performance.
• Deploy code daily via GitLab CI/CD to AWS ECS and monitor systems using Datadog and Sentry.

Requirements

• Excellent coding skills in PHP 8 (Laravel).
• Expertise in designing, securing, and scaling RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with relational database design and performance optimization (MySQL 8).
• Proficiency with AWS, Git, and Valkey or equivalent tools.
• Experience designing and implementing E2E, integration, and unit tests.
• English: Proficiency required for working in an English-speaking environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQS and ECS Fargate.
• Experience with YII 1.1.
