What you will do

• Design, write, and test C, C++, and Rust code for GO telematics devices.
• Develop firmware modules for modem, GPS, vehicle data, and security.
• Create unit tests and perform integration and system-level testing in real and simulated vehicles.
• Analyze device health and effectiveness of new functionality using SQL queries and Python scripts on Google BigQuery.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation in the departmental Wiki.
• Collaborate with embedded systems developers and technical teams to define project architecture and constraints.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking RTOS.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, and C# in an embedded software context.
• Experience with SQL and modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, TCL).
• Ability to read electronics schematics and data sheets.
• Must be based in Spain for the hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Experience or strong interest in programming with Rust.
• Knowledge of the high-technology or telematics industry.
• Experience working with encryption or cryptographic modules.
