What you will do

• Develop C++/Linux software components for Telematics, focusing on call functionality.
• Review software specifications and design documents to create detailed component-level designs.
• Perform functional testing, participate in code reviews, and conduct root cause analysis for bug fixes.
• Implement unit tests and ensure compliance with automotive industry software development standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical requirements and inconsistencies.
• Analyze and modify existing embedded software to add features or port to different platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer with solid C++ knowledge.
• Expertise in Linux and developing embedded applications.
• Proficiency in inter-process communication, threading, and socket communication.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel (0-20% of time).

Nice to have

• Experience with VoLTE, VoIP, ESIM, 3GPP, and general telecommunications.
• Knowledge of SomeIP, CAPI, TCP, and UDP protocols.
• Familiarity with Agile methods such as SCRUM or SAFe.
• Experience with connectivity protocols including Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
• Understanding of Linux Kernel internals and security features like secure boot and TEE.
