What you will do

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic production machinery according to SOPs and engineering drawings.
• Perform equipment set-up, calibration, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
• Assemble mechanical units and electronic systems using hand and power tools.
• Maintain quality control and traceability records for all produced items.
• Handle and dispose of chemical and non-chemical waste in compliance with safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize resource utilization and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Ames, IA.
• Ability to learn machine operations, set-up, and changeover procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with manual or power equipment.
• Commitment to safety policies, PPE usage, and cleanroom protocols.

Nice to have

• Six months of production experience.
• Six months of mechanical experience or sterile production cleanroom experience.
