What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and support broadcast systems for TV, Radio, and IP-based infrastructure across the region.
• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of broadcast equipment.
• Collaborate with Systems Specialists to implement upgrades and new technology deployments.
• Resolve operational incidents swiftly to minimize broadcast disruptions.
• Provide technical support during live broadcasts and special events, including Radio OBs.
• Maintain broadcast vehicles and perform quarterly safety and operational checks.

Requirements

• Experience in Electronics, Telecommunications, Broadcast Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in a live broadcast environment (TV or Radio), preferably in a regional setup.
• Strong understanding of broadcast signal flow, video/audio formats (SDI, IP, AES), and transmission systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair broadcast faults quickly and effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in using broadcast monitoring tools and diagnostic equipment like waveform monitors and oscilloscopes.
• Hands-on experience with vision/audio mixers, routers, talkback, and video servers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of post-production, editing systems, visual effects, and sound design.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Mac based systems.
• Knowledge of Cloud-based systems and Virtual Machines.
