Senior Test Automation Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript): Building and driving the test automation strategy for a critical banking solution with an accent on automated test coverage and API validation. Focus on designing scalable automation solutions, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality deliveries within a Nordic financial ecosystem.

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Playwright.
• Drive and continuously improve the automation testing approach and overall quality strategy.
• Perform API testing and validate integrations between systems.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Analyze application code and database structures to support effective test design and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and maintain automation integration within Jenkins pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of strong commercial experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing and database validation techniques.
• Ability to read and understand application code.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.

Nice to have

• Interest in AI-powered and AI-augmented test automation solutions.
• Knowledge of Cucumber or other test automation frameworks.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or banking environments.
