What you will do

• Lead the technical direction for backend microservices, APIs, and integrations across domain squads.
• Implement production-grade code in .NET Core following a domain-driven, microservice-based architecture.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to implement and enforce the ARLO reference architecture.
• Perform code reviews across multiple teams to ensure consistency, test coverage, and architectural alignment.
• Work with DevOps on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and deployment via Kubernetes (AKS) and Istio.
• Ensure all services are built with PCI DSS, GDPR, and safeguarding compliance in mind.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in senior roles.
• Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core, REST API design, and clean architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Experience with compliance-driven development, particularly PCI DSS or GDPR.
• Must be based in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Familiarity with Istio service mesh, Argo CD, or similar CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring (OTLP, Sumo Logic).
• Background in payments, fintech, or financial services platforms.
