What you will do

• Manage and optimize high-load databases including PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MySQL, ScyllaDB, and Redis.
• Collaborate with developers to design and optimize SQL queries and database structures.
• Configure and maintain data backup, recovery processes, and monitoring using Grafana.
• Ensure system security, enforce data access policies, and maintain data integrity in distributed systems.
• Manage replication, sharding, partitioning, and overall cluster architecture.
• Automate routine administration tasks via scripts and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Deep experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning, replication, partitioning, and sharding.
• Experience with ClickHouse table design, cluster setup, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of HA architecture patterns (quorum, leader election) and tools like Patroni, HAProxy, or Keepalived.
• Practical experience with cloud databases in AWS and version control systems.
• Fluent Russian language proficiency.
• Proven ability to build fault-tolerant configurations and disaster recovery plans.

Nice to have

• Experience with ScyllaDB and Redis.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation systems.
• Understanding of DWH architecture patterns.
• Experience with object storage systems.
