What you will do

• Review and correct Simplified Chinese localized content for accuracy, tone, and readability, ensuring consistency with internal glossaries.
• Perform in-game LQA testing during patches and updates to validate contextual accuracy and UI formatting.
• Triage and resolve localization bugs reported by players and QA teams.
• Maintain documentation of language issues and contribute to internal style guides.
• Coordinate LQA planning and communication with internal partners.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Simplified Chinese.
• Strong English proficiency.
• 1+ years of experience in localization, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
• Proficiency with translation tools (e.g., memoQ) and task tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Passion for gaming and understanding of in-game narratives and UI contexts.
• Experience supporting live games in fast-paced environments.
• Previous experience as a language specialist or LQA reviewer from the vendor side.
• Familiarity with machine translation workflows and quality evaluation.
