Regulatory and Compliance Specialist (Web3): Managing regulatory compliance, AML/CFT oversight, and corporate governance for a NAPP-licensed crypto business in Uzbekistan with an accent on legal support and regulator interaction. Location: Based in Uzbekistan or willing to relocate to Tashkent (Hybrid: 2–3 days per week from Tashkent hub)

What you will do
- Manage SAR/STR assessments and reporting for escalated suspicious activity cases.
- Coordinate responses to regulatory and law enforcement requests, maintaining detailed audit trails.
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policies.
- Liaise with NAPP and other Uzbek government authorities regarding inquiries and inspections.
- Support corporate governance, including shareholder resolutions and company registration changes.
- Monitor changes in Uzbek legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
Requirements
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- 3+ years of legal experience in fintech, crypto, or other regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of Uzbek corporate, civil, tax, and labor law.
- Experience interacting with regulators and government authorities.
- Professional proficiency in Uzbek and Russian, with working proficiency in English.
- Must be based in Uzbekistan or willing to relocate to Tashkent.
Nice to have
- Experience working with NAPP or other Uzbekistan regulatory authorities.
- Knowledge of digital asset regulation and crypto compliance requirements.
- Experience with cross-border contracts and international legal frameworks.
- Knowledge of data protection, advertising, and consumer protection regulations.
