What you will do

• Act as the primary technical partner for sophisticated financial services clients, including quant trading firms and hedge funds.
• Drive platform adoption across infrastructure, models, observability, and inference layers.
• Identify and execute expansion opportunities while serving as a trusted advisor for scaling AI workloads in production.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Specialist Field Engineers to ensure maximum customer value.
• Represent the voice of the customer internally to influence product feedback and roadmaps.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, AI consulting, or technical field engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, and deploying deep learning models (LLMs).
• Experience designing and deploying production-ready LLM-powered applications.
• Direct experience working with financial services customers (banks, hedge funds, or quant firms).
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Must be a U.S. person due to export control requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GPU compute, high-performance networking, and parallel file systems.
• Experience with PyTorch and the modern LLM stack (vLLM, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Proficiency with Slurm or Kubernetes for ML job orchestration.
• Background in MLOps, LLMOps, or AI Engineering.
• Prior experience in technical pre-sales focused on greenfield accounts.
