TL;DR

Product Owner (Fintech): Managing the technical backlog for the Compliance & Regulation Squad with an accent on BaaS regulatory frameworks and security infrastructure. Focus on integrating KYC/AML tools, ensuring PSD2/3 and PCI-DSS compliance, and bridging the gap between core banking and global compliance partners.

Location: On-site in Belgrade, Serbia

hirify.global is a global company creating end-to-end tech products for clients across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing.

What you will do

  • Own and prioritize the Compliance backlog based on business objectives and Global OKRs.
  • Oversee technical integrations with Identity (KYC), Risk scoring, and AML tools.
  • Engineer functional and non-functional requirements with a focus on financial edge cases like sanction hits and failed KYC loops.
  • Ensure features comply with international standards including PSD2/3, DORA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Coordinate between Engineering, CISO, and external vendors for security architecture approvals.
  • Manage sprint execution and approve product increments across backend APIs and frontend UIs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical PO, Business Analyst, or System Analyst in Fintech, BaaS, or RegTech.
  • Deep understanding of ISO 27001 and the technical lifecycle of KYC/AML/CTF workflows.
  • Proficiency in documenting and testing RESTful APIs and webhooks.
  • Ability to create and interpret UML and BPMN diagrams for complex data and money movements.
  • Expertise in Scrum/Agile managing high-velocity delivery with third-party dependencies.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken) is required.
