Salary: $147,000 – $196,600

What you will do

• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML technologies for vehicle motion control and estimation.
• Collaborate with control engineers, software developers, and stakeholders to define requirements and ensure successful execution.
• Implement agile methodologies to improve development speed, quality, and safety across cycles.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.
• Define robust system architecture and design incorporating industry best practices.
• Manage resource planning, team development, and communicate project risks to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML, control systems, embedded control systems, or safety-critical system development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, and common machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate test vehicles.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master of Science in Engineering or an MBA.
• Technical background in chassis controls and vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with safety compliance of embedded systems.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed global teams in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with MATLAB-Simulink, IBM Rational Tool Suite, Jira/Jama, and the Git ecosystem.
