Location: Must be based in San Diego, California, USA (Onsite)

Salary: $29 – $33 USD per hour

What you will do

• Support molecular laboratory processes and clinical specimen processing under direct supervision.
• Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and inventory of supplies.
• Perform quality control, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Strictly adhere to SOPs and compliance regulations related to test ordering and reporting.
• Assist with administrative duties including data entry, filing, and quality control of spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure established turnaround times are met.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological sciences, or medical technology.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a clinical molecular laboratory.
• Ability to work the required shift: Sunday-Thursday 12:00pm - 8:30pm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and familiarity with LIS.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
