TL;DR

Sr. Figma Design System Specialist (Figma): Leading a complex enterprise-level Figma design system migration between accounts with an accent on shared libraries, component hierarchies, and token architecture. Focus on auditing workspace dependencies, executing library swaps, and ensuring the integrity of design tokens using Token Studio.

Location: Remote (Must be aligned with CST Timezone)

What you will do

  • Audit Figma workspace files to map shared library dependencies, component references, and token connections.
  • Lead the duplication and restructuring of the Foundations library into brand-specific versions while maintaining naming integrity.
  • Execute Figma’s Swap Library feature to reconnect components across the full file set post-migration.
  • Set up Token Studio and validate that all token connections (colors, typography, spacing) are intact.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept tests in sandbox environments to document findings before full migration.
  • Perform final QA of the migrated environment to confirm no broken references or disconnected tokens remain.

Requirements

  • Expert-level Figma proficiency, including deep knowledge of libraries, components, variants, and publishing workflows.
  • Proven experience managing or rebuilding Figma shared libraries at scale.
  • Strong working knowledge of design token architecture and mapping to Figma variables.
  • Direct experience using Figma’s Swap Library feature in a real-world enterprise context.
  • Ability to independently audit complex file systems and identify structural dependencies.
  • Availability to work within the CST Timezone.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Token Studio configuration and multi-brand token sets.
  • Understanding of Figma Enterprise Tier Administration (org settings, seat management).
  • Prior experience executing design system migrations or brand splits.
  • Knowledge of Figma plugins for library management and bulk operations.
