What you will do

• Design and implement secure, resilient backend infrastructure and cloud-native microservices from the ground up.
• Act as the primary driver of system architecture and technical direction for the Atlas business line.
• Conduct code reviews across the engineering organization and foster a deterministic testing culture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering Managers to plan and release high-quality software.
• Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and mitigate production incidents.
• Mentor and guide multiple engineers, helping them develop technical skills and align with strategic goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience building backend services.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining customer-facing APIs.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native microservices.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, operating systems).
• Must be based in the United States to comply with security policies and complete in-person onboarding.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Go or C++.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Background in finance or cryptocurrency industries.
• Knowledge of system security (authentication, authorization, identity).
• Frontend development experience with TypeScript and React.
