TL;DR

Quality Control Specialist (Creative): Ensuring high-quality delivery of creative assets including video, mobile apps, and digital products with an accent on production compliance and technical specification alignment. Focus on mitigating risks throughout the production workflow, proofreading content, and organizing final files for client delivery.

Location: Full on-site attendance required at the Barreal office (Heredia, Zona Franca Metropolitana), Costa Rica

What you will do

  • Monitor production compliance with provided standards and guidelines across all creative outputs.
  • Verify copy alignment, spelling, and technical specifications for video, mobile, and static assets.
  • Communicate errors and expected results clearly through detailed written reports.
  • Collaborate with Producers, Design Supervisors, and Technical Artists to resolve QC issues.
  • Organize, track, and ensure the quality of final files before delivery to clients or trafficking teams.
  • Assist with data ingest and file archival using cloud tools and servers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an advertising agency or production/post-production studio.
  • English: Advanced (B2+/C1) proficiency in reading, writing, and conversation.
  • Broad knowledge of Adobe Suite software, specifically Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Acrobat for review and commenting.
  • Deep understanding of asset delivery specifications and exporting standards for diverse creative assets.
  • Must be able to work on-site five days per week in Costa Rica.
