What you will do

• Perform testing of components, assemblies, and prototypes to ensure quality and reliability.
• Conduct optical and mechanical measurements during the development process.
• Analyze defects and prepare detailed technical reports for the R&D team.
• Assemble, adjust, and debug prototypes and specialized test equipment.
• Execute basic mechanical rework, including drilling, threading, and fitting of parts.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve overall design and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Knowledge of testing and quality control methods.
• Ability to read and work with engineering documentation.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, measurement techniques, and optics.
• Hands-on experience with tools, soldering, and assembling small parts.
• Basic CAD skills, specifically using SolidWorks.
• Understanding of mechanical design basics, tolerances, fits, and machining processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with manual or CNC machining.
• Experience with 3D printing and post-processing.
• Experience with custom-built equipment.
