TL;DR

Backend Engineer (Python/AWS): Building and supporting systems that power modern communication services within the telecommunications industry with an accent on cloud infrastructure and service integrations. Focus on designing production-grade systems, solving complex technical challenges, and managing the full product lifecycle on AWS.

Location: Fully Remote (Must be based in Poland)

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Django.
  • Deploy, monitor, and operate services within the AWS cloud environment.
  • Develop containerized applications and CI/CD workflows using Docker.
  • Design and optimize databases, integrations, and backend architectures.
  • Troubleshoot production issues to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend development experience with Python and frameworks (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
  • Proven experience deploying and operating services in AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level.
  • Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

  • Frontend development experience.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Experience with Redis, Celery, or similar technologies.
  • Exposure to AI-powered products or LLM-based solutions.
  • Polish language skills.
