NOC Engineer

TL;DR

NOC Engineer: Monitoring and maintaining high-availability services for a global Conversational AI platform with an accent on incident response, system performance, and cross-team communication. Focus on troubleshooting production incidents, managing operational procedures, and ensuring service reliability across a large-scale server infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid mode (Onsite except night and weekend shifts)

What you will do

• Monitor services and servers to ensure high availability and performance.
• Trigger operational procedures and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Manage internal incident notifications to keep stakeholders informed in real-time.
• Collaborate with the Support division to resolve customer-reported service issues.
• Provide data, clear communication, and status updates during customer-impacting incidents.
• Work in a 24x7 operational environment across rotating shifts.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work 24x7 shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and GCP.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a level-headed approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or Anodot.
• Scripting or programming knowledge.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE or CCNA.
