What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, services, and APIs for the global exchange platform.
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant services capable of handling significant fluctuations in traffic and trading volume.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive performance optimization initiatives.
• Write clean, efficient, and secure code with a strong focus on reliability and operational excellence.
• Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to solve complex technical and business challenges.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Rust, C++, C, or other high-performance compiled languages.
• Must be based in Asia.
• Experience developing high-performance, concurrent, and multi-threaded applications.
• Demonstrated technical leadership skills and the ability to mentor engineers.
• Solid understanding of Linux-based systems and development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Rust is highly desirable.
• Experience designing and scaling production databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience in trading systems, fintech, cryptocurrency, or other low-latency environments.
• Experience building systems with stringent security and financial correctness requirements.
