What you will do

• Lead technical pre-sales activities and oversee the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycle.
• Execute and manage customer Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) to ensure technical success.
• Deliver high-quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences.
• Craft precise and compelling responses to functional and technical requirements in RFIs/RFPs.
• Collaborate with Product Management teams to provide client feedback and technical perspectives.
• Identify and nurture new sales prospects through strategic relationship building.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in presales or a similar role within the high-tech sales sector.
• Must be based in Japan; no visa sponsorship available.
• Strong expertise in Windows/Active Directory administration and operations, with knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
• Hands-on experience designing or operating workloads on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IAM and networking.
• Operational experience with LDAP directories and authentication methods.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise application authentication (e.g., .NET, Java, CLI).
• Application development experience and scripting knowledge.
• Fundamental understanding of PKI concepts, X.509 certificates, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, SANS, or Cloud Architect (AWS/Azure/GCP).
