TL;DR

Principal Consultant (SAP FICO S/4 HANA): Leading complex finance transformations across SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud environments with an accent on solution architecture, delivery governance, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on designing end-to-end FI/CO solutions, conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops, and managing large-scale migration strategies from ECC to S/4HANA.

Location: Hybrid; must be based anywhere within New Zealand

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions (FI/CO).
  • Define finance architecture for both Public and Private Cloud deployments.
  • Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops to ensure alignment with SAP best practices.
  • Act as the FICO stream lead across large-scale SAP transformation programs.
  • Manage solution quality, delivery timelines, and risk mitigation.
  • Mentor FICO consultants and support pre-sales activities.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, CO-PA).
  • Proven delivery experience in Public and Private Cloud environments.
  • Multiple full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (greenfield and/or brownfield).
  • Senior leadership experience at Principal or Architect level.
  • Strong integration knowledge across MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
  • Must be based in New Zealand.

Nice to have

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
  • CA/CPA or equivalent finance qualification.
