What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and screening to offers.
• Establish and grow the local company footprint within the competitive Japan market.
• Partner with Product and Strategy leaders to define hiring needs and closing strategies.
• Develop and execute localized employer branding initiatives to attract AI and deep-tech talent.
• Use ATS and recruitment analytics to track metrics and optimize hiring workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of success in recruitment, specifically within deep tech, AI, or autonomous vehicles.
• Experience working in fast-paced, scaling startup environments.
• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (written and verbal).
• Strong ability to manage senior stakeholders and align hiring with business goals.
• Proficiency in leveraging data to track progress and report metrics to leadership.
