Java Developer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Java/Spring Boot/React): Supporting and maintaining the Hiring Events platform with an accent on production reliability and system stability. Focus on diagnosing complex cross-system issues, resolving high-priority production bottlenecks, and optimizing backend/frontend integrations.

Location: Bogota, Colombia (Remote option indicated by #LI-Remote)

What you will do

• Diagnose, triage, and resolve production issues impacting the live Hiring Events platform.
• Monitor system health and respond to performance degradation alerts.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to resolve high-priority tickets.
• Debug cross-system issues across backend services, frontend applications, and integrations.
• Ensure SLA adherence for issue resolution and platform stability.
• Maintain event logic and support platform integrations, migrations, and architecture updates.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot (Primary) and Python/Django (Secondary).
• Experience with React for frontend development.
• Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, and SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills in distributed systems.
• Mid-Level: 3–5 years of experience; Senior: 5+ years with leadership and onboarding capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
