What you will do

• Identify and replace manual, repetitive operational workflows with scalable automated systems.
• Design and build internal tools and lightweight services using Python and SQL.
• Integrate operational systems across finance, sales, procurement, legal, and customer support.
• Develop production-quality scripts, APIs, cron jobs, and data pipelines.
• Analyze operational data to prioritize high-leverage improvements and measure impact.
• Own operational systems from design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping real systems.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, APIs, and scripting languages.
• Ability to reason about systems, edge cases, failure modes, and maintainability.
• Strong business intuition regarding how operational systems affect cost, speed, and scale.
• High agency, urgency, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Madrid.
