Product Developer (AI)

Location: Remote, open to candidates based in Ontario, Canada

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 CAD per year base pay, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reusable, reliable code across the Salesforce platform and cloud-native stack.
• Design and ship features for existing and emerging SaaS products and AI agents.
• Evaluate proposed solutions against long-term business and technical objectives.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions, and maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as part of tier 3 support.
• Participate in monthly spike days involving collaborative software development.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with object-oriented programming on a product.
• Web development experience with component-based JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as React.
• Understanding of scalable application design principles and strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a highly collaborative development team.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and maintain high software quality standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with trunk-based development and continuous delivery in cloud environments such as AWS and Vercel.
• Experience automating processes with AI or using AI coding agents.
• Salesforce ISV experience; platform-specific knowledge can be learned on the job.
