What you will do

• Build and maintain APIs and microservices that integrate with multiple external systems.
• Develop and optimize portal functionality using Backstage.io.
• Manage workloads in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design and automate CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development roles.
• 4+ years of recent experience working with Backstage.io.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of GraphQL.
