What you will do

• Manage and coach a growing team of payment operations staff, overseeing performance and development.
• Oversee the full payment operations lifecycle, including capture, processing, settlement, and investigations.
• Implement efficient processes to optimize operational efficiency and increase STP processing.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and lead global project workstreams.
• Act as the ultimate escalation point for critical payment issues and resolve errors promptly.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in payment processing within a global banking environment.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of international payment processes, clearing, and settlement mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, specifically AML and KYC.
• Proficiency in Swift payment processing and formatting.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
