TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Austria. Relocation package provided.

hirify.global is a European investment platform providing a secure environment to trade cryptocurrencies, stocks, precious metals, and commodities.

What you will do

  • Build and scale high-performance backend systems in Rust to power trading and pricing infrastructure.
  • Develop microservices and internal tooling using Python across a distributed systems environment.
  • Design clean, reliable, and maintainable solutions within an event-driven architecture.
  • Work on real-time systems handling market data, pricing, and hedging across multiple asset classes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable, production-grade systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Rust and solid working knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, websockets, relational/NoSQL databases, and messaging systems like Kafka or ZeroMQ.
  • Must be based in or be able to relocate to Vienna, Austria.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS.
  • Background in trading platforms or market data systems.
  • Interest in crypto and financial markets.
