What you will do

• Design, implement, and support restful web services using a microservices architecture for iOS and Android apps.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, from discovery and technical planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Deploy applications on the cloud using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects in an Agile/Scrum environment to clarify business needs.
• Mentor junior colleagues and ensure high code quality through peer reviews and pair programming.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Strong understanding of complex architecture landscapes and the ability to implement features independently.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including AWS, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Ownership mindset with a strong focus on TDD and unit testing.
• English: Professional working proficiency required.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work in Vienna (hybrid setup).

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
• Background in the e-commerce domain.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot for refactoring and code generation.
