What you will do

• Develop and evaluate tools for improving entanglement quality between network nodes.
• Conduct research on entanglement distillation and error correction techniques.
• Utilize simulation and analytical calculation methods for network design.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers within the QUESTING Doctoral Network.
• Participate in research secondments at partner institutions in Italy and France.
• Contribute to scientific publications and complete a doctoral thesis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a closely related field.
• Exposure to quantum computing or quantum information through coursework or experience.
• Must not have resided or worked in the Netherlands for more than 12 months in the 36 months prior to the recruitment date (MSCA mobility rule).
• English proficiency required for scientific communication and writing.
• Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and research stays.
