TL;DR

Sr. Frontend Software Engineer (React): Building and scaling highly-visible front-end architecture and design for a global video commerce platform with an accent on performance, responsiveness, and seamless integration with backend systems. Location: Hybrid role based in Fuzhou, China. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Fuzhou.

What you will do

  • Develop and scale rich user interfaces that integrate seamlessly with backend components.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to create responsive, high-quality user experiences.
  • Provide technical leadership and documentation for key stakeholders.
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and development processes.
  • Review peer code and contribute to maintaining a high-quality, reusable codebase.
  • Address technical questions and provide scalable solutions for customers.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Fuzhou, China.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
  • Advanced proficiency in building responsive and scalable web applications using React.
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Proven experience with AJAX, XML, JSON, and design patterns.
  • Working knowledge of automated testing and version control systems like Git.

Nice to have

  • Experience with commerce and CMS platform integration.
  • Familiarity with UX principles and site performance optimization.
