Salary: $189,000–$230,000 USD

What you will do
- Set the strategic direction for CALDER as a leading voice in data-driven K-12 policy.
- Lead business development efforts, including grant proposals and relationship-building with funders.
- Design and oversee large-scale research projects while managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor staff to support their growth in research design, project management, and client relations.
- Represent the organization to media, policymakers, and national experts to build eminence.
- Ensure the technical rigor and quality of all research deliverables and products.
Requirements
- PhD in economics, education, sociology, psychology, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience managing and conducting research and evaluations.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
- National reputation for research expertise in education policy with a track record of winning competitive grants.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex research findings for non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff capacity building and business development.
