What you will do

• Act as a key liaison between XML schema development and the XPub Horseshoe application used for publishing XML documents.
• Improve the user experience and workflow for document editors, ensuring effective support for XML markup, validation, and correction.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, schema developers, and software engineers to translate publishing requirements into application functionality.
• Leverage knowledge of XML technologies and REST-based architectures to enhance enterprise web applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent experience as a Senior Developer.
• Proficiency in HTML5 and advanced CSS, including parameterized CSS and scope control.
• Strong web design experience, with the ability to translate requirements into intuitive and complex user interfaces.
• Technical expertise in XML content creation and XML Schema.
• Location: Must be based in Washington, DC, USA

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Blazor, C#, and LINQ-to-XML.
• Expertise in creating XML documents conforming to DITA, DocBook, or MIL-Specs.
• Experience with the Telerik suite of web controls for Blazor applications.
