What you will do

• Create expressive 2D character animations from concept to final implementation using Spine.
• Develop high-quality prop animations to enhance gameplay feedback and environmental storytelling.
• Design rewarding animations that align with the game's brand identity and feel.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, artists, and developers for seamless Unity integration.
• Build an animation library for future research and implementation.
• Optimize animations for various mobile platforms and screen resolutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a 2D/Spine Animator in the mobile or gaming industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality execution from concept to in-game assets.
• Expertise in Spine and proficiency with Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and Unity.
• Deep understanding of 2D rigging, mesh deformation, skinning, and animation workflows.
• Mastery of animation principles: body mechanics, squash and stretch, timing, and anticipation.
• Experience working with Unity implementation constraints and a strong interest in AI tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with VFX, UI elements, and secondary motion.
