Quality Technician

Salary: 30.22 USD - 36.03 USD hourly

What you will do

• Work directly with service technicians in the field and service shops to ensure timely and accurate completion of objective quality evidence records.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports and draft quality reports.
• Ensure products/services comply with quality and safety standards, as well as company standards.
• Support root cause investigations and the identification and implementation of corrective actions.
• Perform internal and external quality system auditing as directed.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ commercial or military experience as a quality technician or quality inspector in a hands-on role.
• Working knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical information and draft reports.
• Must be a US Citizen and attest that you do not have dual citizenship due to access requirements to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information.

Nice to have

• Certification as CQT by American Society of Quality is desired.
• Knowledge and experience working with mechanical and/or electrical systems is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.
