What you will do

• Design and develop observability solutions for applications hosted in Pega Cloud.
• Implement and manage microservices monitoring, including metric collections, logging, and APM tracing.
• Define and establish KPIs, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs using OpenTelemetry standards for distributed tracing.
• Maintain monitoring tools and correlate infrastructure and application metrics to ensure end-to-end visibility.
• Automate solutions on the Pega Cloud Stack to enhance operational efficiency and problem discovery.
• Collaborate with product and cloud engineering teams to improve overall system availability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) delivery models.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and at least one programming or scripting language.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Jenkins.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using monitoring data and log analysis.
