What you will do

• Design and develop observability solutions for Pega Cloud hosted applications.
• Enable monitoring capabilities including metric collections, logging, and APM tracing for microservices.
• Define KPIs, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for cloud services using OpenTelemetry standards.
• Automate monitoring solutions and correlate infrastructure metrics with application logs.
• Collaborate with product and cloud engineering teams to ensure system availability and performance.
• Perform problem discovery, analysis, and resolution using advanced cloud management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) delivery models.
• Experience with Kubernetes and basic programming or scripting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools and Jenkins.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficiency in agile methodologies.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
