What you will do

• Build custom WordPress themes from scratch without the use of page builders.
• Create well-structured, reusable content components using ACF Pro.
• Develop custom Gutenberg blocks to enhance site functionality.
• Translate Figma designs into a high-fidelity, polished website with great attention to detail.
• Optimize website performance, including loading times, caching, and asset handling.
• Collaborate closely with the frontend/UI and delivery teams to maintain clean, maintainable code.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with custom WordPress development.
• Strong PHP skills following WordPress standards.
• Solid practical experience with ACF Pro (mandatory).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience building custom themes from the ground up.
• Understanding of performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing Gutenberg blocks.
• Basic DevOps knowledge related to deployments and environments.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or fintech.
• Familiarity with AWS or managed hosting.
