What you will do

• Manage end-to-end Mastercard issuing operations, including client setup, BIN configuration, and card product rollout.
• Handle BIN management by requesting and allocating BINs and maintaining Mastercard scheme compliance.
• Act as the primary operational liaison with Mastercard, managing Mastercard Connect, mandates, and certifications.
• Lead the operational side of new client onboarding from initial intake and configuration to go-live.
• Troubleshoot card issuing and transaction processing issues, owning the operational fix and process improvement.
• Build and maintain operational workflows, SOPs, and trackers to ensure scalability as volume grows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Mastercard issuing operations experience at an issuer-processor, BIN sponsor, or fintech.
• Strong working knowledge of BIN management and Mastercard network rules for virtual and physical cards.
• Hands-on experience with Mastercard Connect and related operational tooling.
• Proven ability to build structured operational workflows and maintain meticulous documentation.
• Ability to work with payment systems and APIs, using tools like Jira to track and resolve issues.
• Fluent English and strong written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience operationalizing a new Mastercard BIN or card product launch.
• Exposure to multi-currency or cross-border Mastercard issuing operations.
• Familiarity with chargeback and dispute operations on the Mastercard issuing side.
