Frontend QA Engineer (iGaming)

TL;DR

Frontend QA Engineer (Javascript/Typescript): Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks for a global iGaming platform with an accent on frontend reliability and scalability. Location: Hybrid in Malta (3 days office, 2 days home)

What you will do

• Design and develop automated tests using industry-standard tools to ensure product reliability.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks focusing on maintainability and reusability.
• Collaborate within a Scrum team to define requirements and add value to the product.
• Conduct root cause analysis of issues to provide detailed and actionable feedback.
• Promote a quality mindset through coaching and close collaboration with the team.
• Optimize the Software Delivery process to enable Continuous Deployment.

Requirements

• Proficiency with test automation libraries like Playwright, Puppeteer, Jest, and Mocha.
• Experience creating automated tests using Javascript and Typescript.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing.
• Experience with non-functional testing for performant and scalable web applications.
• Background working in Agile teams with a shift-left testing mentality.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to event-based micro-frontend architecture.
• Experience implementing quality gates in CI/CD tools like Github Actions or TeamCity.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Prior experience in the iGaming industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or PSM I certification.
