What you will do

• Design and maintain reusable AI capabilities, including models, APIs, and platforms for internal and customer solutions.
• Develop an internal MCP server to securely expose hirify.global's data stores to AI agents.
• Create robust evaluation frameworks and AI guardrails to ensure model reliability and safety.
• Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
• Take full ownership of projects from requirement gathering with non-technical users to deployment and operation.
• Act as a consultant and advocate for AI engineering to accelerate adoption across the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend and server-side development experience building complex, highly scalable systems.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python.
• Experience working with public clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong product management skills to gather and refine requirements from non-technical users.
• A sense of ownership with some DevOps experience for end-to-end project delivery.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with agentic coding tools like Claude code or Copilot CLI.
• Experience with Strands Agents, RAGs, Bedrock, or MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Comfortability working in containerized environments.
