Senior AI Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in or near Tel Aviv, Israel (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office).

What you will do

• Design and maintain reusable AI models, tools, and APIs for internal and customer-facing solutions.
• Develop and manage an internal MCP server to securely expose data stores to AI agents.
• Build and optimize RAG systems and implement robust AI guardrails for model reliability.
• Take full ownership of projects from requirement gathering to deployment and operation.
• Act as an internal consultant and advocate for AI engineering practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate AI productization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend and server-side development experience in highly scalable systems.
• Proven experience with at least one general-purpose language (Python preferred).
• Strong product management skills for gathering requirements from non-technical users.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Copilot or Cursor.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic technologies like Claude code, Strands Agents, or Bedrock.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Comfortable working in containerized environments.
