What you will do

• Process financial documents, invoices, and bank movements for various entities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
• Manage payroll entries, business travel expenses, and company card bookings.
• Handle intercompany transactions, accruals, and month/year-end closing.
• Coordinate VAT returns and statutory filings with local tax advisors.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve accounting efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of Czech accounting standards, IFRS, and local GAAPs within CEE.
• Familiarity with VAT regulations and basic statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics 365, SAP).
• Communicative proficiency in both Czech and English.
• Educational background in economics at the high school level or above.
