What you will do

• Own the matching engine and order lifecycle management including various order types and self-trade prevention.
• Develop and optimize the risk engine for derivatives, covering margin, PnL, and liquidation flows.
• Define consistency and persistence models using event sourcing and crash recovery strategies.
• Design reliable interaction patterns between the trading core and external systems like custody and market data.
• Set and monitor latency and throughput targets using benchmarks and production-like load testing.
• Lead the engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and managing development processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial experience with Go, with at least 2–3 years in a Tech Lead or Architect role.
• Hands-on production experience with matching engines, exchange gateways, or market data feeds.
• Proven track record in building low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
• Direct experience working on a centralized crypto exchange (CEX) with real order flow.
• Deep understanding of trading primitives such as margin trading, perpetual futures, and liquidation logic.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems concepts like idempotency, exactly-once semantics, and fault tolerance.

Nice to have

• Experience with DEX infrastructure or hybrid exchange models.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements including KYC/AML and market surveillance.
